Sistovia is a diary for blood pressure and pulse readings that you take yourself at home. It stores the values you enter, calculates averages and shows them next to the ranges published in the ESC 2024 and ESH 2023 guidelines, or next to a reference value you enter.
Sistovia is not a medical device. It does not diagnose any condition, does not recommend or change treatment and does not replace a doctor. The ranges, colours and notices in the app are for orientation only. What your readings mean for your health is decided by a doctor.
Never start, stop or change medication because of the app. If you feel unwell, contact a doctor. In an emergency call 112, or 155 in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Do not wait for a reading or a notice in the app.
The results depend on the values you enter. Use a validated blood pressure monitor, follow its instructions and check that you have typed each value correctly. The app cannot verify whether a reading was taken correctly.
The app is intended for users in the European Union. It is provided free of charge and without advertising. We may change, update or discontinue the app. Because your data is stored only on your device, export a copy if you want to keep it.
The app is provided as it is. We take care that the calculations and texts are correct, but we cannot guarantee that the app is free of errors or always available.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from decisions made on the basis of the app, from incorrectly entered values or from the loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular for death or personal injury, or for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and nothing limits your rights as a consumer.
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
